Boyle and the surrounding areas are a thriving hub of activites and things to do all year round. We are blessed with beautiful landscapes and terrain which offer us a rare glimpse into the untouched natural world of the Irish midlands. The best place to see this natural marvel is at Lough Key Forest Park. There is a huge selection of walking trails, outdoor pursuits and water activities that are perfect for anyone from the casual admirer to the keen adventure enthusiast.
We are also home to some of the most interesting history and heritage sites in the West of Ireland. King House and Boyle Abbey, both located in Boyle town, offer a fascinating insight into life of the Irish Midlands before the 20th Century. We also have a Historic Town Trail available in our walking section that shows all the historic rich sites that Boyle has to offer. If you are an avid adventurer, Boyle is certainly a town not to miss.
